Director Sanjay Ram has come out with yet another movie based on underworld.
Quite typical to his earlier films ‘Thoothukudi’ and ‘Aadu Puli Aatam’, ‘Veeramum Iramum’ features underworld and their violent ways of life. The movie is inspired by the life of gangster Venkatesa Pannaiyar, who was killed in an encounter by the police.
Saravanan, who hogged the limelight playing Chitappu in Ameer's ‘Paruthiveeran’, plays the male protagonist. Emotions and action come quite comfortably for Saravanan, who plays Sankaran Pannaiyar, who commands the respect of villagers. He has got the nuances right and fits the role like a T.
