Thottupaar
The movie opens with Maharaja’s ration-card photocopy lying on the road and moves into flashback mode. Maharaja alias Maha (Vidyaarth) is a village lad who does not have any ambitions in life. After he befriends the local sub-inspector of Police (VMC Haneefa), he begins to earn money by bailing out unknown people from the court by using his ration card. When he helps one Mani in getting bail, Mani goes on to murder the local minister on the same day. Maha thus also becomes an accused in the murder case, and how his smooth-going life takes a turn is the rest of Thottupaar.
