The movie is about Venu (Ravi Krishna), a youth who lives with his mother (Revathy). A responsible youth, Venu works in a factory and gets his sister (Devadarshini) married off. He has his mentor Guru (Prakash Raj) living in his next door to whom he turns up for sagely advice in times of crisis. He also has the company of girl next-door Kani (Gopika). However, Venu has one problem in life. His left cheek gets burnt in a fire accident when he was young which leaves in him an inferiority complex to take part in social events. He decides to go for a plastic surgery on his face, which doctors assure would make him normal. Venu works hard and saves money for his operation. Unfortunately his life undergoes a turn here and he obsessed by money loses men and their affection around. The rest of the story is all about what happens then. Does he succeed in his mission? Plus points of the film are good storyline and dialogues. The climax of the film is heart touching. The basic storyline is very different from the stories of regular films. This story tells the importance of inner beauty. The way the director shown how a sane man would become pretty wild due to frustration is brilliant.
