Ratha Sarithiram Tamil Film
Non-violence is not a garment to be put on and off at will. Its seat is in the heart, and it must be an inseparable part of our being. Ram Gopal Varma promoted the movie ‘Ratha Sarithiram’ ardently with such quotations made by Mahatma Gandhiji and on pars with Mahabharata that reads – Revenge is the purest form of emotion. Don’t presume this film to be a preachy show, which of course isn’t. But RGV has attempted of promoting non-violence through a drama of non-stop violence. For illustration, every film’s heroine wants to curb down the villainous nature of their spouses. But a wide distinction of such attributes is very witnessing in this film. Priyamani extends her words of support for Suriya to bump off his opponent. On pars, Radhika Apte confesses to Vivek Oberoi for interfering into the assassination of Priyamani.
Just as the title Ratha Sarithiram signifies, the film is about seeking vengeances between the generations of two different families. Very often we have seen such films in general, but Ram Gopal Varma brings the captured moment of history that happened before 5 years in Andhra Pradesh. The filmmaker has blended the dramatic events with some commercial elements of action, family and sentiments but on a different note.
