Mambattiyan Tamil Film Story
Interestingly director Thyagarajan, who acted in the original has not tinkered the original story. It is all about the heroics of Mambattiyan (Prashanth). In a rustic village, a rich man (Kota Srinivasa Rao) wields all clout. He has final say on anything and everyting.
He faces the wrath of Mambattiyan's father (Vijayakumar). As it happens, he gets kills by the landlord.In a fit of rage, Mambattiyan wipes of the landlord and his family.
He takes shelter in a forest and forms his own team to fight evil and corrupt. He is admired and adored for his honest ways and as angry young man, he instills fear in corrupt. Mambattiyan falls in love with Kannathal (Meera Jasmine). Meanwhile, enters senior cop Ranjith (Prakash Raj) to end Mambattiyan's acts. It is now a game of cat and mouse between them.
