DOLBY DIGIAL 5.1 SURROUND
Prem(Salman Khan) & Suman(Bhagyashree) meet each other. Their tastes and liking are the same - so they become friends. A different relationship is born. With the right of friendship, each forces the other to get rid of their bad habits. Hardly anything is spoken...but nothing is hidden either. Then their relationship is questioned in public."A boy and girl are never friends! Its just a farce, a veil to hide the clandestine affairs, the hungry passions, the erotica!" They are laughed upon. Suman is shocked. She does not speak to Prem. Until Prem gives a new name to their relationship ..."LOVE". Suman belongs to the countryside where she lives with her father, Karan(Alok Nath)- an auto mechanic. Karan had gone to the gulf to earn money, and had left Suman in the city with Krishen, his childhood friend. Krishen had since migrated to the city and has become a rich businessman. Prem is Krishen's son. The blossoming love between Prem and Suman is not approved by Krishen. Karan returns to find Suman insulted by Krishen. Severing all past relations, he returns to the village with Suman. Prem revolts against his father and leaves home to be with Suman. Sooraj Barjatya's first directorial film MAINE PYAR KIYA is an all time favourite.
