Prakash Jha's Rajneeti
Prakash Jha is a director who has given us hard hitting films with a backdrop of crime and politics and they have earned rave reviews from the viewers and critics alike. Today his much awaited film ‘Rajneeti’ is getting released all over India and the actors and director himself are betting big on its success.
Synopsis:
The movie starts with the story of two characters Arjun Rampal as Prithvi Pratap Singh and Manoj Bajpayee as Veerendra Pratap Singh. Prithvi is placed at more responsible place than Veerendra which really makes him angry. To take revenge from Prithvi, Veerendra decides to kick Prithvi out from party and for that purpose Veerendra joins hand with Ajay Devgan as Sooraj. Sooraj is a typical backward and negative politician.
Then Ranbir jumps in, Ranbir is the younger brother of Prithvi and he was having a peaceful and normal life abroad. The situation and circumstances forces Samar (Ranbir) to came back to his soil and he starts taking part in the game of politics.
Brij Gopal (Nana Patikar) is the man who guides him all the rules in the books or out of books to Samar and he picked up the game within no time.
Well, for the rest of the story, you have to watch movie. The most important and positive aspect of Rajneeti is the acting of all the cast members, Especially Ranbir and Arjun Rampal. On the other side Katrina has proved yet again that she is the best actress, the way she balanced her acting and played the role, it’s really remarkable.
