A punch packed tale, the story is set on the backdrop of Shivgad, a village in the border of Maharashtra and Goa. Here lives Bajirao Singham (Ajay Devagan), a tough and honest cop who is loved and respected by all in the village. A sequence of events happens and Bajirao is pitted against the powerful politician and criminal Jaykant (Prakash Raj). This leads to a clash and using his influence, Jaykant gets Bajirao transferred to his city. Bajirao also has a romantic side in the form of Kavya (kajal) who supports him. Meanwhile, Jaykant begins to make life miserable for Bajirao using his tactics. How Bajirao deals with them forms the rest of the story.
