The story goes like this. Kalyan (Naresh) works as police informer in Vizag who reports to a local cop, Sai Kumar (Dharmavarapu). While in Vizag, he meets Swapna (Sneha Ullal) and it is love at first sight for him. Meanwhile, the cops ask Kalyan to come to Hyderabad to gather information on two mafia leaders - JP (Jayapraksh) and KP (Ahuti Prasad). While in the process of helping the Police with the investigation, he then finds out that Swapna is the daughter of KP. With her help, Kalyan is on a mission to get all the information he can on these criminals and their mafia boss in Bangkok, Nanda (Ashish Vidyarthi). Meanwhile, Swapna's marriage is fixed to JP's son Ajay (Subba Raju). The rest of the story revolves around Kalyan's battle against all these odds.
With "Madatha Kaja", director Seetharama Rajuseems seems to have made a mishmash of many action flicks like "Ek Niranjan", "Mirapakayi" and "Dubai Seenu". The only difference being that this one is an out-and-out comedy.
